Wave hello

Google Wave is here or at least it is for those amongt us lucky enough to have received an invitation (apply here).

So what is Wave? In Google's own words...

"Google Wave is an online tool for real-time communication and collaboration. A wave can be both a conversation and a document where people can discuss and work together using richly formatted text, photos, videos, maps, and more."

It's far too early yet to make any predictions about the success or failure of Google's latest online app but who'd bet against them?
